United Airlines has decent (northern hemisphere) summer fares and great miles offers, 80K miles + $56 for round trip. 88K + more dollars to Perth, the farthest commercial airport on the planet from Orlando. The extra bucks are probably due to Singapore Airways. Also 88K to Cairns (Barrier Reef, tropical palms) or Brisbane. Some flights are available only to people with United credit cards.
I'm vacationed out for this year (really cheap ticket to Azores) so unlikely to take advantage. Still, flying to Sydney and going to Wollongong rather than Sydney's busy beaches. Of course it's winter so surf may be great, weather not so much.
