It has been a while since a confirmed shark death in the area. A woman was killed swimming not far away at Avila beach. More drownings of course the waves are big a lot and people surf by themselves a lot.

Morro rock in the distance from Nov.

Thanks Tom. The ridiculous part of that area and you know this is how easy it is to get out at Morro. That current takes you right out which makes surfing way overhead waves doable there. Now where this guy was killed is north up the beach and if there is a Swell it is so hard to get out. So the waves must've been smaller that day. It's really a crowded surfing area. Pretty gnar.

Is that as deep as you could get in that thing? Lets see the other shots.

I've had my days there it's not the hollowest spot on the central coast by any means. That day was absolutely perfect with no one else out on the rock I was surfing. I was getting closer and closer to getting it dialed and hopefully get a cover up. Right after this shot the wind came on about 15 knots on shore in the span of about 15 minutes. I was a bit disappointed but whatever, I've got mine over my life and have lived and surfed in some pretty amazing places. I don't expect you to know much about that kind of thing crapola however this is a surfing forum and "you could have been deeper" is the proper response! Kudos!

Ha, green for da win. Also, just noticed autocorrect fixed my Morro to Morton. Did it seem salty to you?
