I giggle when I see this in my Photo Library, , , , , it was a normal "not good enough" day for those guys. Very few people out because it really was not too good !!! June 8, 2008

"not good enough"

What happened five seconds later tells a more complete story.

Dry barrel?

Lumping closeout?

100 yard runner?

Yes, a picture can say a thousand words, but it can also be a liar...especially in Florida.

^ True, but locally, that first five seconds of drop before the closeout in those conditions^, that rates about a 10 on the 10 scale. And if it lasts any longer than that, it's ALL TIME - YA SHUDDA BEN DER - EPIC!!! And to keep this surfing (rather than just drooling) related, last night there were some littles ones before dark. If the tides were just a bit more cooperative...

You know, it was just like that at the local this morning. Glassy, nobody out because it wasn't any good. Just a few seconds from takeoff until the closeout. Well. Of course, it was only about shin high... Happy Friday

To put it a little more in "perspective", , , ,

Here's a left for you to gawk at:

And, just so we don't get too excited about it, , , , here's a look at the "No Sets Line-up":

Considering that I was once again groveling a 9'6" this morning, those are painful to admire. Keep 'em coming!
