Been wondering about this for a long time. Can anyone provide any details on this shop that existed in the 70's in Cocoa beach? Where was it located, unlicensed to use the lightning bolt name? DCB the only shaper? Anything you may know?

GP's Lightning Bolt East was located directly east across A1A ( South Orlando ) from the current City Hall ----then it became Primo Surf Shop for a while . Both had giant wall murals painted out front .

He also had a tube painted on the inside that wrapped from the south wall to the west wall. It appeared as if you were looking out of it from a very deep spot. It was originally a grocery store (an IGA, I think). It was pretty skanky. Unless desperate, my mom drove to the Publix in Melbourne rather than walk in to it.

I don't remember for sure, but, the tube may have been 1st peak at the inlet.
