Right in the pocket!
Tue-Wed...As a high pressure builds over central U.S. and a gale develops to our east, a strong to near-gale northerly wind flow will develop over the central FL Atlantic waters, creating dangerous boating conditions. Seas of 7-9 ft on Tue will build to 9-14 ft on Wed. The WNWAVE model brings the high seas quickly and higher than 14 ft. For now, the seas were capped at 14 ft as up and down fluctuations will depend on the location and strength of the low. Wind and seas will then start to slowly subside on Wed evening. Thu-Fri...On Thu, as the gale retreats to the east and away from FL, winds will decrease but seas will range 7-10 ft on Thu and 6-9 ft on Fri. |

LOL. Yeah, wind forecast looking pretty good for Saturday for now.
SYNOPSIS Strong north-northwest to north winds this morning will become near-gale with gale gusts and building seas this afternoon and continuing through Wednesday. Hazardous boating conditions will then continue through the weekend. Swells will linger over the marine area into late week after onshore winds gradually decrease. |

It's looking like a real nice NNE fetch. Buoy 41025 at Diamond Shoals is indicating a healthy gale that's pointing our way. Be praying for favorable winds on Thursday. Can I get an amen on that?

Was offshore, noclub, this AM at quarter of 7. Some solid lines, chest head plus, maybe a little drifty. Nobody out? edit: for the record, TRDF1, at about that time, said WNW at 15-20 and 40° without wind chill....

Just took a look at O Club and it's breaking about a half mile out, with white water peaks on the horizon. Halloween is the only swell I've seen in Brevard that was larger.
20 mile buoy Report: 18.7 feet at 13 seconds. ------------------------- I was right. |

The virtual buoys were right then. they had it hitting 19 feet but as you see the first post NWS capped it at 14 feet and not believing it.

20M buoy hit 24 feet @ 14 sec at 11:50AM, WOW!!...using the loose rule of 2 hour travel from the 20M buoy to the beach, there is gonna be some big sets on the horizon around 2PM. Anyone got a visual for the spot with the peanut galley boardwalk and the deli nearby in North Indian Riv Co. (WW)? May try to paddle out there.
