As the Cape Verde season is coming to a close and no El Nino the Caribbean will start to open up. Long way out range is showing possible tropical activity. I was thinking of putting my house back in order might just wait a bit longer and see.

Oct 14th has a spin up in the Yuc channel , but that's a ways off. I rode out Cat 3 Roxanne back in 95 in Cancun , so I always watch out for that second tap zombie storm

I went for a bike ride around the backside of my neighborhood the other day, and one house painted their wood "shutters" (plywood?) to match the house...

^^ I did that during Mathew for the boards covering the garage windows. I do not want any light to get in the garage (classic car and boards live in there) the sunlight was not wanted and also a bonus of added extra security. I like it very much, keeps the garage cooler, hurricane ready, no light, quiet, and with the same color paint it looks fine. No one can see the windows from the road, even if they could I would do it anyways.
