Agree with what TV % others said. I used to have several in spots as described plus others (forearms etc).. Usually come in matching 'pairs'... I also have high high Triglycerides.. From what I heard from several doc's they tend to come back if you get them removed UNLESS you do as TV says.,, Over the years mine have gone down & most have disappeared since I have upped my veg intake.. Can barely feel 2 very small ones now.. Have a 'gut' problem - different deal - portion control! Well seasoned food tastes too damn good - love the garlic, ginger etc!! As you age your metabolism definitely changes / slows down.. Don't burn the calories off like I used to 20 to 30 years ago...

I have a paddle air vest and it does take the pressure off your rib cage. But, like any top it rides up a little

If the vids below are what you're talking about, you don't want a primary care doc taking them out.

The surfer in this video had them removed from ribcage on both sides by a dermatologist.

This one was on a guy's back, but there's some good commentary by the doctor (a general surgeon), as opposed to just music in the first vid.

In both cases, patient was awake, and the procedure was done under local anesthesia.

Short reddit thread here

And an interesting medical paper here
