Well I don't clutch pearls nor do I have any, but if that is your thing, more power to you.

What I did do though was speak out about the violence and condemn it on social media. I also argued with people that supported it and tried to convince them that what was going on was grossly counterproductive to the very cause they were protesting. Given that I am not a political figure or directly involved with running any of the areas where these things were occurring, that is about all I can fucking do as a private citizen.

In addition, I do what I normally do and get coverage on big events like this from multiple sources and view points, including international media. Anything less is a disservice to myself.

What have you done other than make broad sweeping generalizations that aren't accurate to the vast majority of the people you group together?
