What does this do unless Sullivan has evidence they tampered and falsified or avoided proper information? Just seems like They will get their way.

This is a huge embarrassment for the DOJ. They are highly respected and very professional in an extremely formal arena. The judge has basically publicly shamed them and forced them to put their individual names on any pleadings so that if any more documents turn out to be altered, he will hold them in contempt, alert them bar with a complaint and prevent them continuing with the case. That would be a career killer at the DOJ and later in private practice one they are allowed to leave ahead of being fired.
