Come on people; here's your chance to bash the tangerine tornado with one of the greatest living legends of rock and roll.

What section are you in Joe? If I don't sell them, I'm going, it's just going to be a busy couple of weeks for me; Metallica on the 5th then RW on the 11th. And an old navy buddy will be here from the 3-9...my liver doesn't stand a chance!

On the floor, Sec 1 or 2. Just off center of stage, about 6 rows back.

You still going?

Good review of the Metallica show?

I saw Roger Waters for the Wall tour a year or two ago. sounded great and really good show. I got tix for this tour in New Orleans. He said in an interview this will be his final tour. He is 73. Make sure you see him. He is really good live.

Saturday night, New Orleans. Roger Waters. Great Show. The guy playing guitar and singing as David Gilmour was great. Roger Waters loves playing live. Worth it.

didn't sell the tix, so I'll be venturing over from O'land in a few. Hoping to hit up Edison Food and drink lab on west kennedy before hand.

Amazing show from my view. We were 6th row, about 4 seats off center. The peak of that laser pyramid was right over my head. Found out we got a discount on the tickets because they were unsold seats in the VIP section. Everyone around us paid $600+, and we lucked into those for $275.

They did stuff from Meddle, Dark Side, Wish You Were Here, Animals, The Wall, and some solo stuff that was much better than what I had heard before. Definitely the real deal of a Pink Floyd production!

Didn't see or hear anything anti-Semitic, but it's pretty obvious Roger Waters is not a fan of Donald Trump. He didn't say a word, but managed to tie in the on-screen imagery with some of the lyrics in a way that was often amusing.

I-4 sucked as usual.

Great show. My seats were perfect for viewing all of the effects, but a little far for actually seeing the band (or I'm going blind). Glad nobody bought the tix and I made the trip over, despite I-4 traffic and being rained on just as we made our way from the car to the arena.

Roger Waters has a few things to say about today's music stars. ..... At 78, the famous rocker and former Pink Floyd star is showing no signs of slowing down - or biting his tongue. In a new interview, Waters stated that while he's not intentionally taking a hit at the musical acts of today, he believes he is "far, far, far more important" than Canadian stars like the Weeknd and Drake. The discussion began when Waters asked why none of the newspapers in Toronto had sent a critic to cover his show there. He was told by the reporter that his show was scheduled on the same evening as the Weeknd's performance across town, which was ultimately canceled. "I'm not trying to make a personal attack. I'm just saying it seemed odd. And, by the way, with all due respect to the Weeknd or Drake or any of them, I am far, far, far more important than any of them will ever be, however many billions of streams they've got," Waters told the Globe and Mail. .....- and there you have it!

He is correct on saying that to us older people. but, I'm sure my 24 year old son does not know who RW is but does the weeknd and drake.

There are bits and pieces of the current tour on cell phone coverage on youtube. The center stage looks interesting and doesn't look like he pulls any punches on his politics.

He is big. I think he is the richest musician on the planet right now. I'd have to google it. Maybe 2nd to Paul McCartney.

Well, google search didn't like my comments and put Roger Waters at #23 richest net worth musician.

Roger Waters Net Worth $310 million
Waters is a musician, singer, songwriter, and composer too.

He is a co-founder and lead singer of the British band Pink Floyd. Pink Floyd has sold over 250 million albums.

Waters started his solo career in 1985 and went on to become the world's top-grossing artist.

Show this Thursday in O'ville.

Great show, but not as impressive as the 2017 edition. He did a lot more of his solo material and less of the classic PF stuff than before.

With a 360-degree stage layout like in Dave's photo, there was a lot of time you couldn't see the musicians. I was hoping to at least see them on the big screen, but most of the material up there was imagery and political commentary.

Agreement or disagreement with the politics was not an issue; there was just so much of it that it (and the audience reaction to it) was a distraction from the music.

Layout-wise, I had a decent seat in the lower bowl, but it was right at the end of that runway in the lower righthand corner of Dave's pic, so I was staring straight at the butt end of that divider between screens. After a while, it felt like I was wearing Navin Johnson's glasses while trying to view the left and right sides.

All-in-all, I'm glad my sons and I took advantage of what might be our last chance to see a Pink Floyd member performing PF music. But TicketBastard's "convenience fee" was $50 per ticket, on top of the ticket itself. I'm not budgeting for any more entertainment in that price range when I retire!

Exactly why I wasn't there this time. I've seen him 3 times solo and once with PF. I'd pay it if he and Gimore could get over their butthurtness and do a Pink Floyd reunion, though.

I'd prolly also make an exception for that, as long as it was for good seats where I could see all the musicians for the whole show.

If I'm going to watch it on a big screen, it might as well be in my living room when they release the DVD.

FTR, I've seen Gilmour solo (1984), PF 2x w/o Waters (1988 & 1990), and now RW solo 2x. Gilmour in '84 and RW in '17 were among the best shows I've ever seen.

Agreed on not as good as the Wall show. For the amway I always choose the nosebleeds seats. I like it up there.
