Finished season 1 last night. Interesting show. Lots of blood and guts, but interesting concept. I think the show was #1 on netflix the past month. South Korean series.

I enjoyed it. Sheds light on their massive personal debt problem too.

I like my chances on all the games except for the last one. I don't like games of pure luck

Watched it with the fam, my daughters really liked it. It is interesting and keeps you engaged.
I heard the translation was pretty watered down and there is a lot more to the story if you are a Korean speaker.

The part about the Pakistani guy, Ali, was a bummer. But, Korea is pretty homogeneous and figured he was like a red-shirt guy in Star Trek...but his character had some substance to it, unlike a typical red-shirt.

Yep, lots of fencing masks with triangles, circles and squares! Ha!

looked pretty strange and netflix and social media seemed to pump it up as popular and #1 and viral long before it had much viewership which is always odd. I cant seem to get into these modern netflix/streaming fiction series, maybe one day!

If you want to watch some good foreign shows on Netflix, I'd recommend, Shtisel, Rita, Lillehammer, The Detectorists, Toast of London, Sex Education, Midnight Diner: Tokyo Stories, Samurai Gourmet.

On Prime: Merli, Seaside Hotel, All Creatures Great and Small, and Fleabag

I just did all of Death in Paradise and I'm hooked on the Great British Baking Show, it's the ultimate show for decompression. 8 out of 10 cats is hilarious too; unedited adult humor is fucking hilarious.

Squids reminded me of the picture of the year Parasite a bit. Pretty good.

That was definitely interesting. Extremely graphic violence. Overall, a good story and some of the clues were there but but I missed them. I see the sequel seeds.

BTW - i saw one that was not a bought costume. It looked pretty good and was worn by a woman. Kinda cool.
