Tears, seams taped, stuck zippers and more.

Repairing tears and leaky seams, and such, are normal "business" practices but, , , , , ,
Zippers are a subject of their own. Sure, some zippers just plain suck and the village that made them should be naped, , , , but, , , , , Otherwise, the zipper maintenance (cleaning!) and repair operations need to be diligently performed. ------------------------- Dora Hates You |

I repaired about 30 suits with stuck zippers last season. Definitely easier to maintain them, a bit of silicon spray or grease works wonders. The plastic ones are the only ones that should be used, at least #10, but some cheap suits are still made with brass sliders and stops....yuk
They are a bitch to get unstuck, labor intensive, but I got turned on to a good system by some friends from oneill. Anyone has a suit they want to get active again, let me know....thanks. Reply on reply, i dont check pm's much ------------------------- spindrift |
