SW wind, incoming swell, any one looked lately?

Swell showing at the beach and offshore ; but it's gonna b only at right bars....

Long glassy lines maybe waist on average with maybe a chest high big set. Breaking wonky at Perkins. Down the beach at HT looks like quite a few people out, only 5 here.

With that said, at the right bottom and spot it could be fun somewhere. Just not right here.

Too bad tide is incoming. If it was dropping, it would make for a fun evening session. I am sure someone can find a spot and get some though.

Out back around 4-4:30 - beautiful blue water and long lines. But it's right at that time the wind went onshore. If if had looked like that few hours earlier with a dropping tide, the surf would have been insane.

Couldn't believe how fast the wind turned! Deep where I checked at 4pm with a super deep trough mid to inside, but shoulder high swell if it had been breaking.

Yeah man, it was crazy fast. I was on my way to check it again when I saw the neighbors dogs running lose. By the time I got them and put them in my yard, it went from offshore to whipping onshore. Just a couple of minutes, heh. Didn't even bother going to look.

Was crazy fun on the soft top at dead low at PAFB! Didn't think there would be anything so didn't bring a real board, just the foamie for the kids. Ended up out there myself getting some looooong peelerz...could feel it coming!

Got some long ones on the log, but the tide is having it's say. 2 feet and glassy in Cocoa Beach.

Ponce Inlet is going off big time.

as i leave at 4 this morning i hear something clanking in the back of my car and sure enough mufflers hanging low. hopefully can get it clipped back on by the end of the day and get out there tomorrow.

Well, um, I guess I'll say it's mixed news. I just watched a head high runner go for 100 yards (Cocoa Beach), but on the flip, it's looks like the wind has turned on-shore.

I just came in from a solo session and i was sitting in a pack of pelicans half the time. Fun waves, but unnerving surroundings.

It got better an hour after my first check. Paddled out for a few hours. Long wait between the sets, but some fun ones to be had. Mainly race tracks

somewhere North of the cape report - head high sets, offshores most of the morning... and firing. long fun rides. WOO HOO x 10

first session on tropical swell with the new board. had so much fun zippin n weavin n stallin. my two cents: domain name's was set up pretty darn well. a gradual slope on the beach is a good thing. if you were in the sweet spots on the best waves you could ride all the way to shore with an inside barrel on offer and makeable barrels at that. onshore wind for weeks is near, prepare for the "second combing." lol.

Three to four feet on the sets, straight onshore wind. Clean faces if you aren't sitting in the rips. Mostly sections with the occasional good ends. A skate park kind of day.

I had intentions to fish early, but was a lil lazy (and didnt want to deal with all the morons on the ICW today) so I took the 5-7 fish out instead..... surprisingly some fun small leftovers (for the right equipment)

the 10 sec swell hit the Bermuda buoy and NE Bahama buoy today , it will probably get mixed into tomorrows wind swell once the NE winds start to blow. Time will tell

Me too. Sometimes I wonder if some of our 'shark bites' around bait pods are just macks or blues.

I bet that is fun. I use an ultralight when I go after them from the beach myself. Gives me cast distance to reach them and a fun fight when they hammer the spoon or jig. Every once in a while a tarpon will grab hold too and give a couple of jumps before I open the bail and so they throw it. Seems to work for the most part, only lost a spool once/twice in all my years that way.

if you ain't fished in a while .......catchin brim with a cane pole can really take you back home and to the basics

Funny. I was catching them on bread balls and using them at the spillway last week. Nothing to show for it though.

shoulder high last 3 days up north

started hitting the NE Bahama buoy last night , now 120 is starting to rise . So maybe a little worm tomorrow or Tuesday

If there are no bouys pinging and if the covid ever dies back down. I Highly recommend an airboat fishing trip for anybody wanting to see Florida wetland ecology and catch bass!!! Thanks for helping me up my personal best. We had a great time.

Some spots early this week have been working better than others. Good for the floaty board... But this tiny swell won't show up unless it's low tide.


edit: Looks flat most of the day, then like this at low. Enough to maintain your surfing sanity.

The Worms just aren't what they used to be . Doesn't look like a good year for a trip . It's going to be a soft , hot , summer until some thing bubbles up .

I'm not sure volcanoes are a good idea at this point..

Speaking of Volcanoes , I've never seen(Cam) so many people out by Diamond head at the end of Kapahulu pier , as I did Saturday . They have a south swell going a couple feet over head , and there was hundreds in the water by Canoe's and Queens just running each other over .

We used to surf Queens at night by the lights of Waikiki to avoid just that situation. There would still be 20 people out sometimes!
