Critical Race Theory

Can we clear up a lot of confusion regarding America and the radical left's concept of Critical Race Theory, it has gotten way out of control.

To begin, slavery was a way of life for thousands of years on this planet for both black and white. The entry of slaves into the U.S. in 1619 was not the first slaves in America. They were already here enslaved by the native Indians, who enslaved their own as well as whites, let's not forget blacks also owned slaves, white and black.

Hopefully, we can agree the mainstay of slavery in America was in the south, an area controlled by Democrats. Another fact, the result of the Civil War, in which Republican northerners fought southern Democrats, was the legal freeing of blacks from slavery. However, the Democrats then created and enforced the Jim Crow laws, punishing blacks resulting in imprisonment and murder.

Moving on to 1968 and the Civil Rights legislation initiated by united protesting whites and blacks and proposed by the Republicans and opposed by the Democrats in the longest filibuster in American history, led by Klan member Robert Byrd. You see, America fought a war that freed blacks then fought to enact legislation that created enforceable rights. That is America's history of racism that the 1619 project never mentions.

We want our children to understand blacks and whites united in war and then protested to put an end to discrimination and assure all Americans were assured equal rights. America didn't start racism, it did all possible to end it. Critical Race Theory is in fact racist, it separates people by race, which is the racism America fought against. It tells white children because they are white they have guilt to atone for and it tells black children they live in a system where they can never succeed because of the color of their skin. That is racist, it's demoralizing, it's a lie, and should amount to child abuse. Those responsible for promoting such concepts should be made accountable under our laws.

Let's be very clear about which side supported racism and it wasn't the right, it came from the left side of the political spectrum. We just want our children to be taught an accurate history of America, that's all. We want our children to understand blacks and whites united as one force to end racism aided by the freedoms America offered them. The American Constitution made it possible for Americans to come together to stamp out slavery and instill equal rights for all Americans.

Also let's be clear a systematically racist system of government would never allow a person of color to be elected President, not once, but twice. It also wouldn't allow any minority to achieve the status of a millionaire or billionaire, which would never be allowed in a systematically racist country. You see the freedoms America offers made all this possible.

So please don't tell us when one white guy abuses the freedoms of one black guy or even takes his life under any circumstance for any reason that America is racist. People may be racist but all the historical facts show America the country has always fought against it.

I hope teachers all across the country take up the subject of CRT and intersperse it throughout all of their curricula.

If some principal or school board tries to editorialize, I hope they shout these words:

I've done my best to good deeds and I've done my best to be colorblind and guide my children in that way.

Speaking from personal experience, claiming to be color blind is offensive and apparently racist. I know, I don't fucking get it either, but I was informed so during a required group training for work.

Basically something like this

From my viewpoint, where I grew up, and the generation I was in, being colorblind used to be a positive thing. However, I am finding that with the scales tilted so far in the other direction, inclusion, diversity, and acceptance only happens for some people.

Why should anyone care if someone else gets offended? I don't. That would be their problem, not mine.
