The BEAT show is coming to town! Original Crimson Men Adrian Belew and Tony Levin have enlisted stalwarts Steve Vai and Danny Carey to tour the early '80's King Crimson catalogue.

Having caught this tour first time around, I was initially disappointed that Fripp and (my all-time fave) Bill Bruford would be missing. But then... reality set in.

This may be my last chance to see this music performed live. Hell, if you can't have Fripp, Vai is a sweet player to "come off the bench". (Check the solo at the 3:58 mark - sweet!)

Looking forward to extreme shards of "Elephantosity" and Chapman Stick heroics from the lads.
