Florida Today. Looks like people will pay to go to a tame clean fresh water beach with amenities. No waves. That's for Fort Pierce/almost Port St Lucie.

it's like installing a permanent non moving....cruise ship.

Maybe it will keep crowds down at the real beaches.

I can understand a freshwater attraction free of gators and snakes, but it also says something sad about the state of the IRL.

I'd rather do a triathlon there than in the river or Lake Washington, that's for sure!

When people move to Florida wanting to live near the beach realize that the Ocean wants to drown you and the creatures that live in it want to eat you

One of the lovable things about Newport Beach is that the ocean is cold and at the south end it wants to break your neck, back, leg, whatever. Rescue. Victim was bodysurfing, landed hard on one foot; messed up ankle, broken tibia and fibula. Lifeguard, UNLV swim team, Olympics hopeful, surfer.

where do u think their trash and runoff will end up?
