I have a buddy now out there now who is heading north bc it's too out of control. Already the lifeguards are saving idiots. He said it's fast and smashing and not let anyone in. The Surfline camera verified that. Conventional wisdom says it will fill in from the south to north but it's pretty flat in palm beach and the high tide isn't helping. Some guys on logs are getting some little rollers here and there but I can totally see how might get skunked altogether on this one. I'm going to head south and start at boca and see what I find.

It went flat in Boynton. Yup, a few longboard sliders but thats it.

Ended up on the south side of pompano pier. It was an overhead, set wave left barreling extremely fast left only. As the tide went out it got dangerous as it strip mined on the inside. Got some very fast lefts on the bonzer. Also exfoliated my face on the inside.

Satellite beach was amazing around lunch. Big sets catchable on the outside that didn't break but could ride all the way in. Which was not such a good idea as the inside was breaking in 1-2ft of water, even on 6 foot waves. Which broke my board on wave #2. Broke 2 boards now in 3 months at SatBe.

I live in Miami Beach in 1990s early. South Beach went off one day. I didn't even know it ever broke there. A heavywave due to the shallow water. Probably 2 to 3 ft deep where these waves are breaking.
