Don't know the guys name...he refused to give it to me. But he tried selling a " new " surfboard that clearly had a repaired tail. He had his wife try to sell the board on Facebook and then blamed her when I called him out on the board being used and repaired.
I drove 6 hours to pick the board up and when he was called out about selling a used & repaired board as " brand new" he got upset and took the post down.
I've sold 1000+ surfboards in my life ( worked for qf/ catalyst for years ) and you can't sell a repaired board as brand new. It's not honest. Even worse when you make the buyer drive hours to pick it up.
Pics of the con artist are attached. And the board in question. Wish i had pics of the tail...anyone who has surfed more than two waves can see the repair job.

My apologies for the post being jumbled. Can't figure out how to get the link to show.

Louis, if your pic is uploaded / hosted on another site, hit the pic icon, fourth over on the toolbar, in reply and paste in the link. If you need to, you can upload it here but need to resize first to about 200kb. Then you can attach to your post. And thanks for the heads up. Scammers suck .
