A great promo video, and it gives you a good look at a really nice building. Paris's Opera Comique is totally different from the huge grand opera house, the Palais Garnier, that's a centerpiece of its section of Paris. Opera Comique is hiding on a tiny square. The building was designed to be safe and convenient for guests (it replaced a building that caught fire during a performance with loss of about 80 lives). Whoever designed it knew all about designing stairs, doors, everything to be right.
The one performance I went to, back row seat, was beautiful 18th century music, which the audience liked, given a wildly modern staging, which the they didn't. The director got booed. Encountered the same thing at another production (somewhere else), where ancient Carthage was turned into a rehab facility for wounded veterans.
