The problem is I feel every time we want to get some food my mind races around trying to think of somewhere to go. If we go left there’s blah blah blah. If we go right then we can eat at blah blah blah... Well most of the restaurants we go to have turned into "blah". Same food, problems, and same feeling when finished with our meal.

I do love how we have some many different kinds of foods around us. Some of my favorite places would have to be Nippon Thai and Skewers... And you cannot leave out the places that make this place great such as Da Kines and Doubles and little places like that BUT I can only eat their food so many times until I feel like there is something missing.

What I guess I'm looking for is the holy shit that was so dank omg! That one dish that will keep bringing you back to that restaurant and I cannot really think of many places like that. There isn’t too many doing "real authentic food" cooked with love. Like there is no real Mexican food around here that I have EVER found. I’m talking Clute, TX type of Mexican food. It’s mostly all chains with whatever food you're trying to get. I'm not trying to bash restaurants around here they do a good job but where is the dank?

I absolutely love food. It is right there with sex, sleep, and surf. So I am putting my taste buds out there. Someone tell me where to get some home cooked, amazing, show stopping local grinds that I can fall in love with. Like if Anthony Bourdain came to this town, where would he go?

But for now here we come Nippon Thai...
