Yes, sugar apple is very good. Some people are turned off on how it looks and the seeds, but very delicious. The Produce Place on pineda/wickham had a whole bunch for sale a couple weeks ago. I have a couple trees but don't take care of them very well so don't get much fruit.

Atemoya is another one in the same familly of trees (annona) that is really good also.

Cherimoya (another annona) is more well known and can be found at publix.

I thought they were heavy fruiters. Do you let the squirrels get them or something?

If anyone has any seedlings or seeds, especially of the red, I'd love to give them a try.

If you still need some sugar apple seeds I have some for you. It's the green kind.

If you want the jump start over starting from seed, South Brevard Nursery on Minton Road in West Melbourne had 2 or 3 plants (3 gal pots, about 4+ feet tall) a few weeks ago. I don't think the label got specific on variety or color, think it just said "sugar apple", it is probably a seedling and not grafted.
