Been on CB Reclaimed Water since inception with the latest revelation of high levels of carcinogenic chemicals found in reclaimed water I cannot help but wonder if these chemicals have found their way into my mangoes ? Good point. As u recall not long ago they had recalled romaine lettuce. Washing the lettuce had no effect as it was contaminated from the cattle farm feces runoff next door.
In other words, the lettuce absorbed the tainted water-from the roots, so if u ate it........

Similar situation - I grew up on a small dairy farm. The local university experimented with DDT by spraying it on hay then feeding the hay to a cow. They then milked the cow the next day, separated the milk from the cream & made butter out of the cream. Every fly that landed on the butter died. DDT was soon outlawed from dairy farms in my state.
