If you are still growing citrus, mid February, in my opinion, is the best time to fertilize.

My trees need it bad after the hurricane Irma damage. I got a lot of Dancy tangerines this winter. But, my other trees are in a decline. disease or whatever, Citrus use to be easy to grow but now not so.

Warm weather is here. The sun is moving back over us. Plants are going to start bustin' a move. Good chance of rain Sunday afternoon. One of my biggest Jaboticaba is starting to bust out in flowers. Mango also. Citrus will soon do spring bloom. Good time to fertilize citrus. Mango don't fertilize during blooming.

Dave,
My lime tree is loaded w blooms, should I wait until fruit is set for a couple of weeks before light feeding? or go ahead and light feed during the bloom?

I have a lime in a container that is in full bloom. I'm just keeping it watered for now. Its been an early spring. If you want to fertilize a tree while in bloom don't use any nitrogen, or low number nitrogen.
