I have a very old staghorn that is huge and beautiful that I need to find a good home for.  I have had it for 17 yrs and original owner had it atleast 20.  I know these things can be asked for between 500-1000 dollars.  It's about 5 feet in daimeter.  Could send pics to anyone interested.  looking for reasonable offers or trades.  Thanks

How much that thing weigh and if some one bought it, how would you move it?

I would love to have that hanging on my oaks. I have some staghorns but they grow so slow.

Dave - if you're interested give me a shout.  I have moved it twice and made a 2x4 contraption that it will "seat" into and then 4 guys can carry it on the long ends of the 2x4's (like king tut).  It fits in the back of a pickup.

Deploy the same way - chain over a tree and 4 guys hoist it up while 1 connects the chain to the latch.  Done it several times.  Its bigger than the picture gives off.

I just dropped the price.  I had it at my house forever in Satellite hanging from a wood structure I made.  It really belongs in an oak.  I moved to mel bch and had it in a nice oak, but moved back to Satellite.  No oaks.  Its been at a friends hanging in his oak, but his wife doesnt like it so I need to find a home for it.

Give me a shout if you're really interested.  Thanks..
