Cut it back about 1/2 as Dave suggested. Left about 25' of tree.

Used a yank strap (left from my jeep days) a chain & a come-along.

Winched the sucker upright after digging out the hole.

Propped it up with 3 2x8's & some 2x4's.

Amazing thing, after filling around it I used the hose with the end down in the dirt and found all sorts of voids & air pockets. It just kept taking more & more dirt. Washing in the dirt was the longest part of the job.

Hopefully this will save it.

I am really partial to Jakarta Mangos probably because I worked on a remote island, Sulawesi, Indonesia where I learned to like them.

OBTW Mangoes fruit 2X in Indonesia.

Good luck. My VP fell over, but it was only a couple years old...6 or so inch trunk. Pruned and stood back up.
