Hi,
Haven't been around much since I sold Merritt Island Ace Hardware, making up for all the long hours.
Just checked my backyard and my Jakarta Mango Tree is blown over and in laying flat on the ground. The tree was extremely healthy and gave me an excellent crop this year. The trunk is about 10" caliper and the tree is about 20 years old.
Is there any hope of salvaging it ?
If so please provide me some suggestions.

I had a big avacado that blew over in the 04 hurricanes. Root ball just pulled up from the ground. I used the truck in 4wd low with ropes to stand it back up and tie it off the house. It took it 4 years before it really started fruiting. ------------------------- |

My big jaboticaba fell over. We used a come-along to wrench it back upright.
Mango is pretty tough plant. Hedge it back, upright it and keep it watered and should come back. Jakarta is great fruit! Hey Aceman, good to hear from you. I was wondering what happened to you. |
