I have a Jasmine plant growing on a wrought iron arch in full sunlight. I transplanted it from shade this past spring since it hadn't flowered there. It has taken off growing well but still I haven't gotten any flowers. I have fertilized it with a flower promoting formula with no effect.
Any ideas? ------------------------- Replace turf grass with native plants that don't need irrigation and synthetic fertilizers or chemicals that can go into our waterways and ocean |

Might be busy setting out roots or building new shoots. Also, they tend to flower in a big flush. Spring?

Brought up some lakeside jasmine from S. Florida a few years back. They didn't like the salty well water and they croaked. Just a thought. Maybe hand water with City water. |

I planted it on my pool fence. It has consumed the fence, but flowers very lightly in the spring. I suspect not enough sun as a 3 story building is just north of it. However, the flowers that do flush don't seem as fragrant as other vines I've encountered. I suspect perhaps a cultivar that isn't as fragrant?

My neighbor prunes his jasmine on a fence so severely that it never, ever flowers. |

It had some flowers in the nursery so it can do it. I hand water with city water. Guess just hope ww is right and wait for next spring.
