I always have tons of bromeliads that I end up just throwing out. I have two acres, so I have things that just pop up all over the place like beautyberries and wild coffee plants. Sometimes a Simpson stopper or two. Not sure what I would need in trade, though. Except orchids. I'm just starting to get interested in orchids.

I had an issue when i was editing the post to try and put a pic. I cant get them to come up so if anyone is interested just pm me. We are looking for fruiting plants for eating purposes so I would not be interested in coffee/beauty berry but someone else may be. Thanks

I have a 8-10 ft guava tree I am willing to trade. Tropical pink kind. Awesome fruit. I don't really have the space for it. Who wants it and what do you have? I want to get rid of the guava so I don't need anything also as big as the guava. I love palms first and foremost. This is my first post by the way. Thanks for having me.

Variegated swamp lilies babies growing on mama
Miracle fruit seedlings
variegated fireball bromeliads
pink plumeria

Looking for interesting (and hardy) ground covers. Compost/humus.

Welcome Jah! Is the guava tree potted or in the ground? I may be interested. Unfortunately I dont have much as far as palms. I have some golden cane palms in 5-7 gallon pots very ready to be planted. Some Christmas palms that are in 2-5 gallon pots. I have a ton of different plumeria. (Scott Pratt, hot pink, light pink, 3 different whites, 2 different yellows, sunrise colors, sunset colors and more). I've got 5 royal poincianas that are 3-5' and ready for the earth. Some banana pups (cavendish) A bunch of Dracaenas ready to be planted (pink and green & green and purple) An a few different bromeliads.

Scott Pratt and Sunset/sunrise plumerias seem cool. I checked out the guava this afternoon and it is is easily 12 ft. It is yours if you want to trade. I am in Cocoa Beach.

I've got a couple seedling jackfruit (recently sprouted) unknown variety. I bought a fruit (23 Lbs) from Thrifty produce, yellow flesh, excellent flavor (to me it was very lemony, Juicy Fruit), low latex. This one was probably one of the best tasting jack's I have tasted. At a Tropical Fruit club meeting I gave tastes to some of the members who know jacks (hoping they might offer a clue to the variety) and the consensus was that it was a very good tasting jack. Toppy said that the seedling should be pretty close to the parent taste-wise.

Sprouted a few of the seeds, have more than I need. Have 6 or 7, in Palm Bay.

I have Hawaiian red ginger (awaphui) and heliconias (and probably some bromeliads), I want passionflower vines (cultivated variety, not maypops, pref. red?) and mangoes (would pay for the tree as it's probably not a fair trade). Would consider other vines - I want to replace some bougainvillea. Also, I need HELP removing said BV . I would cook dinner for that one!

I would love your jackfruit seedling, Dangermouse01. Would you consider trading it for some miracle fruit seedlings?

Thanks to everyone who traded us banana plants. They are doing wonderful and now we have a little banana garden that also serves as a privacy fence. Cant wait for the fruit. Several have already put off pups. Now we are looking for other fruit trees and plants. Black berries, blue berries, avocado trees, Red bananas (the fruit not the leaves) etc. Up for suggestions as long they are edible. Here are a few bromeliads up for trade. The flowers are declining but many have pups and ready to be planted. Have some other palms like the cane palm, finger palm, few others. Will take more pics if the weather is nice later.

Anyone had success with blackberries or blueberries bearing fruit beyond the first or second year?

Stevenson nursery in Cocoa has several varieties of blackberries that one of the employees says has been there for years and he just cuts them back every year to keep control. I tasted a few and they were delicious. He had blueberries also but I did not see any fruit. Please share if anyone has had success w/ a particular variety.
