I drove up to Palatka this week.  On the way, I finally found the mighty Fairchild Oak (named for the famous plant explorer) and stopped by the little state park at Flagler Beach.  Here's the photos at Flickr.

The oak is enormous.

You really have to be there to see that mighty "Fairchild Oak", the picture just doesn't do the justice!!! Very nice park.
