Got a few cabbage palms that sprouted kinda close to the house. Wondering what you guys think about "how close is too close" if I let them grow?

Probably oughtta dig 'em out? I kind of like the way the fronds look mixed with my crotons and Ti plants....but i know they'll get big pretty quick.

Assume that trunk will get 3 feet across centered right where its sprouting up now.. if thats gonna crack your slab, it will heh

You could probably dig it up in one big chunk and move it over

Young cabbage palms develop very large leaves, which become smaller as the palm grows a trunk.  So a younger palm will take up lots and lots of space.
