After a fake bit of drizzle, nice evening visit to the beach, then downpour on the way back.  Not a long one, but the grass should be happy for a week and the bromeliads will be happy to be rid of irrigation water.  Now to see how much mulch migrated and whether some freshly-planted bromeliads are standing.

__________

It was over 1.6 inches.  The grass is already growing like crazy.

I'm currently getting a good dose of rain...(Monday 2pm).

I was on Amelia Island for this storm and I got woken up around midnight and it sounded like the ocean was going to reclaim the land. We lost power around 2am and it didn't come back on around 8am. I went up to the ocean around 6:30am and the sea was very angry! It was neat to witness. Not too much damage up there from what I saw. Mostly dead wood dropped. I saw a lot of large hollowed out trees felled. We saw around 50mph winds. The eye just missed us and was to the South. Saw some crazy weather last night! Viva la Hurricane Season!

Wednesday evening, we had a 20% chance of rain...but all the rain in Florida was falling on Vero.  Somewhere over a half close to an inch by now. And more coming.

We are right between a lot of tropical moisture from the Gulf. Cluster to the north and south of us, diagonal sw to ne motion.

Boom...gettin it.
