I have one of these in the ground, now about 8 feet high and almost as wide, in partial shade. It was rooted from a cutting taken in West Palm about 8 years ago. A beautiful soft-wooded shrub with gorgeous flowers. But tender. Here in Vero it got zapped badly, but not killed by the 2009-10 and (worse) 2010-11 winters. The shrub has come back strongly, last winter being pretty mild, but its bloom (about a month ago) was weak and the flowers did not look good. If it is a summer of regular rainfall--unlike last summer--it should bloom again at the end of the summer or early fall. Hopefully. It roots easily from cuttings.

Glad to know that your plant survived the last 2 brutal killer colds.
