Been a little slow here with dirty water and winds!!!!

But Saturday morning up toward Ft Pierce had 12 nice size Whiting and one smaller Pompano...lost a BIG Blue fish too!
Fished from 7 to 9:15 AM.

Bite was still on when i left!

Sounds fun Burry. Went last night at park - 1 whiting, 1 small drum and a big margate. Water was dirty and there was an occasional weed but the sand fleas were out and they were massive. I have a theory beach fishing is better when you can find the fleas.

Nice! some pomps are moving north, but yesterday the air temp was down to 56(in jacksonville) so may have stalled a bit.

Got fleas LOL sounds like a good bumper sticker! Anyone have luck with fishbites, I sometimes add a tiny piece to my rig because if the "meat" gets stolen its not just a bare hook.

Looking forward to the snook/tarpon bite.  Gave up on the pompano here in North Brevard...Many attempts at bagging some pomps this year with clam, fleas, fish bites, shrimp. No luck. Prob better at Playalinda or S. Brevard but didn't have the time or effort.

LOL same, I would load up on the "specialty baits" drive to Mel beach or playa and my buddy would have caught one or two off fourth south in cocoa beach on dead shrimp ARRGGGGG!! haha

wow that is awesome WTG on the "grey ghosts!"

We got three short pomps and a keeper last night right before dark, live and frozen clams as no fleas around(jacksonville beach)

Started catching pomps here and there the past two weeks on Amelia Island. No big schools yet, although we may have missed some that passed through on the days we weren't there. Maybe some better days ahead. Limited out a lot last fall. Whiting bite has been great since February.

got on a nice drum bight yesterday in the surf, got 6 blacks(kept 2) and two reds(one under one over released) along with a jumbo whiting and a short pomp.

Used frozen clams in a really nice 5'+ trough just off the beach, all fish were in that cut the baits past the bar didnt get touched!
