made the voyage all the way to Mel beach, plenty of fingers in close and a nice trough at high tide but the weeds made it unfishable IMO.

Anyone else getting out there?

Brent got a slot size snook on the beach last night. Lots o mullet and some good holes with solid run-outs.

I can't reel, the stupid shark chomp is still smarting.

Got a well over slot snook with a yo-zuri @ Satellite. Smashed it coming off the rocks into the trough. Jumped a tarpon as well today. Water conditions sucked and was a constant battle, but the fish are there.

Dang I wish I stuck it out, but the weeds won against me sat and sunday am......nothing better than simply walking the sand with a rod, some leader, a back up plug, and some pliers!

I got a piece of storm debris to the shin on Saturday, aside from the bruise ...no harm. Was so much crap in the water. I pulled out several large pieces of wood, some with nails and screws in them.
