A friend told me the jetty is going be closed from dusk til dawn because of boaters and people fishing from jetty clashing. That chit has been going on forever must be at a all time high. And they may put in a separate fee just to go out on the jetty to keep the riff raff out. Guess I'm glad I don't fish out there anymore. I know that channel can be tough in a boat when rough and you need to hug the jetty at times. Idiots would throw at you back in the day. Is this true about the closing?? From the Florida Today http://www.floridatoday.com/st...g-night/89744380/ I just spoke to the office. There will be a meeting of the commission on Wednesday Sept. 7th at 4 pm. The office is located at 114 6th avenue Indialantic. That's behind the the Subway on 5th and next to Brevard Pools on 6th avenue. They will be taking public comments, you need to sign up before the meeting. The place is so dirty I refuse to even go out on the North jetty.
