Yes I saw a big tarpon yeaterday mornin, while I was not gettin any flounder action. Saw several pods of snook, a small permit, bonethead, and schools of croaker. Small white bait too, the snook seem to be close to the bait. The snook a very spooky, probably males lookin for love. The water may not be surfable but definitely fishable.

Capitalism is based on the ridiculous notion that you can enjoy limitless growth in a closed, finite system.

In biology, such behavior of cells is called "cancer".

Ladyfish make great tarpon bait if less than 18-24" use live, or try a chunk!

made the marathon paddle out yesterday in Indialantic. lots of bait pods on the outside.
My first left a nice sized tarpon rolled right in the curl of the wave about 10 ft in front of me as I was headed down the line.

Went down to ocean ave this weekend, Saturday huge schools of big mullet in close and pogies out far, netted some of the mullet but only had a few strikes from what appeard to be small snook(scaled right behind the gills like one tried to eat headfirst but couldn't...blues or charks would have left teeth marks.)

Took the Gheenoe out yesterday same spot, got mullet early they were almost on dry sand before the sun came up but pogies vanished.....trolled around and got a few sharks before the glass minnows started piling up and here come a few tarpon. tried working edges with the mullet but no takers and it was blistering by 0900 so headed in.

I know big snuke have to be looking for those mullet but no dice for this panda!

ran out of the port yesterday (7-23) bait was hard to find but eventually got a couple dozen pogies, ran south into the satellite beach area, saw some rolling, slow trolled and hooked up 4 nice tarpon but couldn't keep them buttoned up all the way to the boat. Then ran back a little north into the patrick area and drifted and jumped two more. not a bad day but would of liked to of boated a few. Bait was on the bottom in the cocoa beach area. we were able to find them on our depth finder and then cast net them letting it sink all the way to the bottom. Bait was in 10-15 ft of water.
