I havent been doing well with fishing lately. Today after work I decided to take go out and do some fishing. I was using my small light action rod. Typically I take my boat, but I did not want to hassle with loaded it up on the car so I just grabbed my board. I started out with some Electric chicken which turned up nothing. I switched out to a mirrodine, I caught a small red which I thought was bigger because of the fight. I then after a little bit of time I changed location and caught a trout. 25". I was certainly stoked (personal best for trout). After that it was time to paddle back as it was starting to get dark.
