Need some advice on what to use when to go for this afternoon...We're likely going to SI. Any tips or advice would be appreciated.

Snook have been slow, especially in the daylight hours. Best bet is probably just live shrimp fished around the structures for Black Drum, Sheepshead maybe some Mangoes and if your lucky maybe a Pompano or two.

It'll be an incoming (high tide) around 2, might wanna try the catwalks or rocks west of the bridge.

The trout bite has been exceptional! Go with a slow sinking mirrowdine lure, fished near any drop offs, or a top water early, or late in the day. I caught a 22" trout that was FAT the other day on a top water right as the sun went down. (released) And then caught a couple lady fish (always fun).

Shrimp are always a good bet fished around the mangroves, but with bait, there are always the catfish around... but it is a tight line...

Good luck!
