Put the boat in at 6:30 AM, and a huge school of bait was waiting right at the ramp.
Filled the live well with some of the biggest greenies I've ever sabiked.

Headed out to about 100, boats everywhere, king bite was on.
Limited out on the kings in about 20 minutes, biggest was 20.

Poked around for dolphin and BFT on the freelines, incredible blue water, lots of weed, nothing but bonita and mono slicers.

Spent the rest of the morning hunting mutton on the 90' reefs, 8' of 30lb fluorocarbon leader (or should I say $10 of leader), circle hook, live greenies, sardines, nada.

5 lbs. smoked fish dip in fridge.

Two showers but still pretty sure my office smells like mesquite this morning.

We almost always find the kings between Jupiter and PB.

Hopefully the snapper are on their way north.

I'm good on the fish dip, come and get it!

Everyone tells me my dip is great. I have no clue. By the time I'm done smoking the fish, I can't smell or taste a thing for three days.

I have a recipe for boiling kings that make them "similar" to lobster.  I have heard the claim that they are almost exact if one closes his eyes, but I do not believe its that close, but it is a far better way to use up the kings when you limit out.

I've seen it before, never tried it though.
Something along the lines of crab boil and lots of butter.

Was at the West Palm Beach Fishing Club KDW Classic weigh-in this weekend.
Winning king went 57 lbs. and took home $4K.
Winning dolphins ranged from 29 to mid 30's.
