6.5 and 3 gallon glass carboys. Several plastic fermenters, bottling bucket, capper, caps, racking canes, etc. Pretty much everything you need to make beer or wine. Even have a can of extract. Stuff is in good shape but I just haven't brewed in awhile. Located in Indialantic, come and get. PM me. |

Not that hard to make a good ale. Keeping everything clean and maintaining consistent temperatures during the process is key. Brewing the beer takes about 2-3 hours. Fermenting takes 1-2 weeks. Bottling takes 2-3 hours then you wait for about 2 weeks. Makes about 2 cases of beers. Great hobby but I just don't have the time. I started doing it in college before finding good beer was possible in FL. |

Does it require a dedicated refrig for proper fermentation? Temp swings inside the house range from 74-78, garage ...forgetaboutit...too hot, how did you maintian constant 68-72? Refrigeration conversion? |

nah, for doing ales your house temp is fine.... I first started doing it in college too (long time ago ) but the place I used to get supplies from shutdown and eventually lost some equipment over the years, and some got nasty from being stored in a dirty garage workshop
Someone should jump on this nice gesture. I'm 2 hours away or I'd be on it. (been thinking about starting up again, but to be honest I really don't have the time and space at this moment) 6 months from now is prob when I'll start again |
