Good afternoon,

I'm sure some, if not most of you have dreamt about the ultimate surf trip to Indonesia
but have little to no knowledge about how to get there or where to score some of the
best surf in the country. I recently became the North America Representative for a boat
chartering the Mentawai and northern secret islands.

The boat is a tradition 70ft timber Hull with a capacity up to 12 guest. Dave, the
captain, is from the Gold Coast, Australia and has a ton of knowledge for secrets spots
and know when to get guest to some of the top spots with minimal crowds.

We are starting booking for 2018 season and will be offering group package discounts.

A friend of mine says yes (Indo), but there were a lot of pros in the water there, and they make it look easier than it is! And take your reef injury kit.

Indo is a massive country with thousands of Islands. Mentawai are island chains off Sumatra and contains the best waves on this planet. Yes, there are a lot of pros. But everyone in Mentawai usually takes turns and the vibes aren't too aggro.

I did a trip with wavehunters on the Bintang 2 years ago. An amazing experience except booking through them cost me $4,000 without flights. Can be a bit steep for a traveling surfer.

Plenty of waves for intermediate surfers and many guest in mentawai are generally 55 and up.
