Looks like it's a key lock built-in; very cool. But is there anything to keep someone from stealing a board by just sliding it off the roof tail-first?

Even if not, I'm still interested; might be the right thing for my kayaks.

Checking vids & reviews, etc...

i have these locks for my kayak and sup, i love them. there are four steel cables (two in each strap) that are stitched into the straps that prevent somebody from cutting them. i also like them because they're a easier to toss over you car because they're a little more weighted from the cables inside. if you tighten the straps down tight enough it's almost impossible to slide the boards out from under the straps.
