My boss is selling it.  You can even keep the fish! Everything comes with it.  $550 or reasonable offer.  Office is relocating so this has to go!

$125.

these setups can be had for peanuts...but that's a decent offer.

Let me clarify. New costs were as follows.

Tank $225

Stand/hood $200

Light/cover $100

Fluval 404 320gph filter $300

structure pieces $95

circulation fan $50.

also has 4 filter intakes

So, at over ~$1K invested (excluding fish) it would seem you're mistaken.

But its used, P...

so let me carify:

used stand: $20

used tank with components: $60

used lit top/cover: $30

plain bamboo table runner and barkcloth: $15

there's your $125.

cheap chinese brass decor (if thats your thing): $20

plastic rock backdrop and fake bamboo (if you wanna splurge): $50

takes less than 2hr to assemble.

oh yeah...glue will run ya $3.

The stand and hood are solid oak.  Not particle board like the monstrosities you posted.  125 is completely unrealistic. So.. thanks for trying to undermine my ad.

So for the rest of you out there who buy quality (non crap) tank supplies, feel free to inquire.

----------

tell your boss...for $100, I'll repurpose and refinish that benign, vanilla, 1/2 oak monstrosity--and he'll get the $$ he's lookin for.

Me = good (benevolent!) community member.

somethin to think about.
