I guess I should change my name to woundupinFL cause I recently bought 3/2 home near Paradise Beach in Indialantic and about 4 blocks inland from the beach.  It is fully updated with new kitchen, bathrooms, wood and tile floors and everything.  I also have a mini ramp I am bringing with me, its currently only 8' wide but I'm probably going to add on to make it at least 12' wide.  I don't close/move in until around July 15th.  I don't know many people in the area and am looking for someone thats easy going, responsible, respectful and trustworthy.

Here's the catch.  I work offshore and work 28 days on and get 28 days off.  I also have a 6 yr old blue nosed pit.  I'm looking for someone that is willing to take care of my dog as well as home, as you would have it all to yourself for 6 months a year.  My dog is super friendly and great with people but dogs not so much, so it would preferably be someone that doesnt already have a dog.  I fish, surf, skate, and love to drink beer and have a good time and would prefer someone similar, but not necessary as long you're responsible.  Let me know if you're interested or know of anyone that is.

I met this guy behind the 7-11 who said he is looking for a place. He's been up in Starke for about 30 years. He had a roomate while up there, so he's used to that. It should work - as long as it's not within 1,500 feet of a school or daycare facility.

Still looking for a Roomate. I know my criteria for a Roomate is a bit different than the usual. Anyone have any ideas of where else to look? Seriously.

$400/month everything included sounds like a pretty good deal. You might have some better luck asking a realtor if you haven't yet. Also you might get lucky and find a good neighbor to dog sit for you when you're gone. Good luck!
