Pretty awesome condition.  All original.  Hasn't been messed with as far as restoration goes.  No lame resin-re-do attempts here.  This is how it was made in the 70's.

Made in San Diego by the good fellas who went on to start moonlight glassing.

If you don't know who Steve is, get the hell out of here.... Or just pick up a copy of this months Surfers Journal.

$700

Hate to tell you this, but Steve Lis didn't shape for Sunset Surfboards it was Tim Bessell who was shaping all the Fish Kneeboards back then in the 70's, Steve Lis was doing his own thing, and would sign it with a yin and yang drawing....

bugsbunny is right steve never shaped at Sunset Im 1973 Shapers were Ed Wright owner of Sunset, Pat Flecky, Sid Madden, Bill Shrusbree. Hard to say who shaped that board. Of couse it is a Lis influenced knee board.  An old friend Burce Royer rode for Sunset. He was featured in Surfer Mag on his kneeboard at big Porto Escondido. Bill Stang was on the Cover with the headline "The Mexican Pipeline. "
