dingpatch Posts: 19069 Joined Forum: 07/24/2003	Cole, your "Actual funding for mental illness." is spot-on, it hit a major point. But, the "enforcement" part of it is The Rub! Especially in our current society. "My little Billy IS NOT mentally ill, he's just special". In some cases I would have to assume that prescribed treatments would be very upsetting to today's culture. That whole part of it would be a hard nut to crack. ------------------------- Dora Hates You

These mass killers often show the same markers. We just need to get tougher on who can have a gun and who can't. We also need to make people responsible for their weapon. You own the gun and it owns you and will continue to do so until the serial number has been officially transferred. ------------------------- I was right.

I don't know, seems like he's just using your line of thinking. nope. gross order of magnitude difference. we talking national emergency. also saying guns arent the biggest problem isnt say they are not a problem. if we are talking true emergency several things are in front of guns. the environment being on top of them all. guns only supersede them when emotions are involved.
