One really can't read the news anymore without being astounded at progressive stupidity, this time from New York. CNN is even covering it and going wtf?. Amazon was to build their HQ2 in NY and bring 25k jobs to the state along with significant associated tax revenue. You'd think the state and local leaders would be peeing their pants with joy wouldn't you? Not the idiot progressives up there. Oh no. They were so hostile to Amazon, Amazon pulled out of the plan. That's like having the goose that lays golden eggs walk into your yard and killing before it can lay the first egg out of pure spite. Only now do the fools also realize their constituents aren't pleased, and will most likely vote conservative capitalist first chance they get. Democrats are their own worst enemy, well that and natural selection.

"For Amazon, the commitment to build a new headquarters requires positive, collaborative relationships with state and local elected officials who will be supportive over the long-term."

Polls showed 70 percent of New Yorkers supported Amazon's investment in the state.

But "a number of state and local politicians (DeBlazio and Ocasio Cortez) have made it clear that they oppose our presence and will not work with us to build the type of relationships that are required to go forward with the project we and many others envisioned in Long Island City," the company noted.

Amazon is "disappointed to have reached this conclusion," the company said.

Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.) tweeted that the news on Thursday was "absolutely disgraceful" and a "terrible loss of jobs for New York workers."
