Well <10% of the population holds >90% of the wealth yet they seem to think that everybody should pay the same tax. Problem is with consolidated wealth if the people that hold all the wealth don't pay tax in some level of proportion to their holdings then there is insufficient funding for military, roads and other infrastructure, management of the commons that are held in public trust (air, water, etc...). It just doesn't work.
