Allegations are not fact. In this indictment, they are the starting point. A grand jury heard all about and issued an indictment. 18 people believed that two people conspired to break the law, one they kept unnamed as individual 1 and the other is Cohen, who has spilled his guts. Its not only his testimony that was used, but the dates, times, places, money and people who were present when the deals were being spoken of. So if you are trying to say its a mere allegation, you are overlooking the fact that a grand jury indicted on this allegation. That's not a conviction but its a start. If you are trying to minimize the indictment by claiming that Cohen is a liar, you need to understand that no one took Cohen's word or relied upon his credibility or lack thereof, they used cohen as a source, not a witness. His information was corroborated and substantiated before his grand jury indictment using credible, unimpeachable sources. The Feds don't use indictments to go fishing for information.

By the time they cut the umbilical cord, there are no big questions and all of the elements of the crime alleged are met. Remember when you used to comfort yourself with the long period of silence before the indictments? Well now you are minimizing the indictments. Remember when you wanted Hillary indicted? Remember when you thought allegations were everything with her but now they are nothing with Individual 1. Well, you are about to learn how allegations turn into pleas and convictions.
