Florida Gov. Rick Scott ran a super PAC that got a $500,000 donation from a private-equity CEO...

...and one week later, Florida invested $200 million of state pension money with the CEO's private-equity fund.

The private-equity firm was Cerberus. Florida paid Cerberus a $4.9 million fee for managing the investment.

We analyzed the Cerberus fund and found it had a 7.7% annualized rate of return.

If Florida had invested the money in the S&P 500, it would have seen a 20.1% return.

One month after Florida invested in the Cerberus fund, the Cerberus CEO, Stephen Feinberg, donated another $975,000 to the super PAC run by Gov. Scott... a super PAC supporting then-candidate Donald Trump.

Dirty elite mofos, aren't they.

Scott made millions as governor and refuses to say how. Now we want to ship him to Washington so he can game the system on a national level.

These people are the alligators in the swamp, how can people not see that?

But the middle class is doing so well, jobless rates at an all time low and the economy is great. Now for the reality check, most Floridians don't have healthcare, there are very few with actual savings and the tax cuts that were supposed to "put money back in the pockets of the people" largely resulted in stock buy backs from huge corporations. The script about the economy, jobs and the middle class is a public relations ploy, not a fact. To quote Samantha Bee, the workers have no healthcare, their wages have not increased and they are working longer hours but the boss just bought a yacht. Yay.
